Atlanta based, Georgia Tech trained. I'm a research leader with 10+ years of experience bridging usability principles and mixed-methods research to create products that are both functional and deeply aligned with how people actually live and work.
I have a background in Engineering and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) from Georgia Institute of Technology, and 10+ years of experience informing strategic and inclusive product making. I've worked with incredible teams at Microsoft, Intel, Uber, and a few startups in Eastern, Southern & West Africa leading research across consumer-facing and enterprise products.
My specialties include: software and hardware usability, competitive benchmarking, global-scale survey design, field studies, accessibility research, and using consumer insights to identify growth levers and shape strategy across the product lifecycle (i.e. acquisition, engagement, retention).
My approach to research and product building is simple: design for everyone; design for no one. Growing up as a first-generation Nigerian immigrant shaped the way I see the world, and the way I do research. I am passionate about sense-making: using research as a tool to surface and honor the lived experiences of people and cultures across the globe.
Beyond my work in tech, I mentor through my platform, Hope Talks Design where I share career development resources, user research best practices and templates, and my personal journey navigating the industry.
